Intern Opportunities

CCTV has opportunities for a variety of hands-on experience in video production. Offering both field and studio production work, CCTV has a 750 square foot studio, with state of the art lighting and studio equipment.

CCTV operates and programs a governmental/educational access channel on all cable television systems in Contra Costa County. Twenty-four hours of air time a day is available for video programming, and an interactive television information service.

Interns will have the opportunity to work with Super VHS and 3/4-inch video equipment, a computerized on-line editing system (Edit Master), the Amiga computer for graphics and character generation and other CCTV equipment.

  • Assist with production and editing.
  • Prepare logs of taped programs.
  • Duplicate and mail tape requests.
  • Assist in set-up and maintenance of tape library.
  • Assist in locating programming for airing on CCTV.
  • With consultation, produce own program.
